年初於中國大陸廣州市成立新工廠CONTI TAI YOUNG SPORTING GOODS CO., LTD.。資本額美金三百五十萬，工廠建坪15,000平方公尺，日產量10,000~12,000個。新工廠的生產線組織於8月份確立，同時開始測試生產。
A new factory was set up early this year in Guangzhou, China under the name of CONTI TAI YOUNG SPORTING GOODS CO., LTD. with a capital of US$3,500,000; it has a floor space of 15,000 sq. meters and a production cap. of 10,000-12,000 pcs/day. The production line at the new factory has been well established and organized since August, test run started at the same time.

The company was first established operating under the name "Tong Shiang Rubber Chemical Industrial Company" located in Taipei suburb of Wu-Ku with a capital of US$500,000; the factory utilized a floor space of 36,000sq. meters, and its main products were all kinds of rubber balls at a production capacity of 500 pcs/day.
